Karl S. Bartling, 95

Karl S. Bartling, 95, of Almont, MI passed away on October 30, 2024.

Karl was born in Grosse Pointe Farms. After high school, he joined the Marine Corps, and was honorably discharged in 1949. Before retirement, he was an electrical engineer at General Motors. Karl was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Capac. He enjoyed being outdoors, horseback riding, flying small aircraft, and spending time with his family.

Karl is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Carol as well as daughters, Pam Bartling, Kim Bartling, Kathy (Chris) Riedel; sons, Mark Pelletier, Kris (Amy) Bartling, Kirk (Amber) Bartling; and five grandchildren, Kristopher, Lauren, Morgan, Nicholas, and Melanie. He is also survived by his former son-in-law, Sam Ramirez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Henrietta Bartling.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
