Jonathan Jacob Peters, age 41

Jonathan Jacob Peters, age 41 of Lapeer and formerly of Imlay City passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born May 11, 1983 the son of Dean John and Darlene (Howcroft) Peters in Rochester. Jonathan attended Imlay City High School.

He worked in Landscaping. Jonathan played sports in high school and he liked watching most of the Detroit sports teams. He enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. Jonathan liked reading the newspaper for news and information.

Jonathan is survived by his son Jacob Jonathan Peters of Lapeer, his mother Darlene (Jeff Tanis) Peters of Imlay City, his brothers, Nathan Andrew Peters of Imlay City and Bryant Scott Peters of Imlay City. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jonathan is preceded in death by his father Dean John Peters, by his brother Dean John Peters, II, and by both grandparents: Herb & Pat Howcroft and Don & Joan Peters.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. all at Muir Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, 2650 S. Van Dyke-Imlay City, MI 48444.
