Frank Vrsek, age 75

Frank Vrsek, age 75, of Metamora died Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at his home. Frank L. Vrsek was born November 2, 1949 in Detroit, MI. He is the son of the late Frank and the late Dolores (Silhavy) Vrsek. Frank grew up in Detroit, MI. He is a graduate of Henry Ford High School in Detroit, Class of 1967. He married Doris McEachern on September 7, 1968 in Detroit, Michigan. Frank and Doris lived in Taylor, MI before moving to the Attica area in 1978.

He was employed as a Computer Programmer & Analyst by several companies: First Federal Savings & Loan in Detroit, Hamill Manufacturing and retired from Comerica Bank.

Frank enjoyed farming in his spare time. He and wife Doris raised pigs and chickens, and would help friends with their farms. He was good at fixing things, including cars. The thing he enjoyed most was spending time with his grandchildren. He also volunteered at the food pantry in First Congregational Church Imlay City, MI.

He is survived by: his wife, Doris Vrsek of Attica, MI; daughter, Karen (Stephen) Hall of Attica, MI; his sons, Frank Vrsek of Dryden, MI and Kevin (Shelly) Vrsek of Dexter, MI; brothers, Robert (Sylvia) Vrsek of Brownstown, MI and Gary (Denise) Vrsek of Pickney, MI and Sister-in-law Debbie Vrsek, grandchildren Evelyn Vrsek, Violet Vrsek, Madison Hall, Cory Hall and Alex Hall.

Frank was preceded in death by: his parents, Frank and Dolores Vrsek; infant daughter, Cathleen Anne Vrsek; and his brother, Randy Vrsek.

Arrangements for Frank’s cremation were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
