John Nick Pfeifauf, 74

John Nick Pfeifauf, 74, of Berlin Township, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Henry Ford Detroit Hospital.

He was born August 9, 1950, in Berlin Township, the son of the late Peter and Ann Marie (Webber) Pfeifauf.

John married Pamela K. Rhody October 21, 1978, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Capac.

John worked at Apollo Fire Apparatus Repair Inc., Romeo, for 25 years as a service manager. He also was a volunteer firefighter for both Almont and Berlin Township Fire Departments for many years. He enjoyed golf cart rides and mowing his lawn, but John loved gathering with friends and family while enjoying an ice cold beer and playing card games.

Surviving in addition to his wife Pamela of 45 years, are two daughters and a son-in-law, Angela (Josh) Furman of Las Vegas and Karen Muniz of Clinton Township; a grandson, Tobey Muniz; siblings, Maryann (Bill) McLeod of Riley Township and George (Mary Kay) Pfeifauf of Capac; as well as Mitty, John’s beloved cat.

At this time there are no services scheduled for John.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac.
