Imlay City ranks fourth, Almont ties for fifth

TRI-CITY AREA — The Imlay City and Almont girls’ golf squads took fourth and tied for fifth, respectively, at the Blue Water Area Conference Midseason Tournament on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Holly Meadows Golf Course, in Capac, is where the action unfolded.

Yale (381) paced the field assembled. They were followed by Armada (397), Lutheran North (431), Imlay City (441) along with North Branch and Almont (500 each).

For Imlay City, Ava Shack led the way with a 92 over 18 holes. McKinley Couzens (108), Alyssa Bruman (116) and Adalyn Siegler (124) supported her performance.

Eva Rayl paced Almont with a 107. Piper Steinhaus (120), Vanessa Steinhaus (129) and Holly Murphy (144) rounded out the list of Raider scorers.
