Anna West, 89

Anna West, age 89, of Imlay City, Michigan, died Saturday, March 7, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Anna Marie Bradstreet was born July 20, 1936 in Bridgewater, Maine. She is the daughter of the late Ferdinand and the late Madeline (Welch) Bradstreet. Anna grew up in Maine. She is a graduate of Bridgewater High School. She married Charles “Bill” West on July 14, 1954 in Centreville, New Brunswick, Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill. Anna and Bill moved to Michigan in 1967 and lived in Madison Heights, MI before moving to Imlay City, MI in 2001.

She was a Home Maker, raising her family.

Anna enjoyed reading, putting together jigsaw puzzles, Candy Crush, and gardening.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia (James) McCabe of Imlay City, MI and Terri Lynn (Christopher) Stiefel of Almont, MI; son, Jeffrey (Marie) West of Mt. Morris, MI; her grandchildren, Jeffrey West, Kristina West, Jennifer Murray, Michael West, Bryan West, Lori Rajcevski, Kristina Nickerson, Joel Koresh, James McCabe, William McCabe, Thomas McCabe, Christopher Stiefel and Erin Stiefel; 10 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Patricia Chandler of Idaho; and her brother, Arlo Bradstreet of Maine.

Anna was preceded in death by: her husband, Charles “Bill” West; and parents, Ferdinand and Madeline Bradstreet.

The family is planning a celebration of Anna’s life at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
