Phyllis Marie Bullock, 95

Phyllis Marie Bullock, 95, of Mussey Township passed on October 20, 2025.

She was born in Detroit on June 5, 1930, the daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy (Pechumer) Lambrix.

Her marriage to Robert Bullock was July 9, 1949, at the church parsonage in Redford. The couple enjoyed 62 years of marriage before Robert passed away on March 1, 2012.

Phyllis was a 1948 Redford Union High School graduate. She had attended Crossroads Baptist Church in Imlay City. Phyllis was a talented seamstress and had made many outfits for her children. She enjoyed crafting and loved spending time with her family whenever she could.

Surviving are five children, Ann (Aaron) Newberg of Bay City, Joyce (William) Chatterson of Mussey Township, Linda Bullock of Imlay City, Gayle Bennett of Burton, and Robert (Maryann) Bullock of Mussey Township; six grandchildren, Heather (Mike), Destiny (Chris), Sandra (Roi), Melissa, Robert III (Courtney), and Asa; twelve great-grandchildren, Cameron, Seth (Lilly), Colebrynn, Trevor, Valerie, Vivienne, Christopher, Gabriella, Alyssa, Mitchell, Sophia, and Michael Jr.; a sister-in-law, Nancy Lambrix, as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends.

She is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert Bennett, and four siblings, Robert (Donna), Donald, Elaine (Gene), and Marilyn (John).

Arrangements were entrusted to Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale. Private inurnment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Yale.
