Susan “Sue” Duff, 85

Susan “Sue” Duff, 85 of Almont passed away October 3, 2025 peacefully at home. She will be remembered as a true people person who never met a stranger. Sue was welcomed into the world by her parents James and Muriel Miller on June 18, 1940.

Sue spent her early career as a waitress where she met and married the love of her life Charles on July 3, 1968. After moving to Almont to raise their 5 children and 16 foster children over the years, she had a career as a Real Estate Agent and retired as a bank teller. She was never one to pass up a good deal or a treasure so it was no surprise that she and Dad spent their retirement as antique dealers where they built a large group of extended family and friends.

Sue will be remembered fondly as Mom Duff to many. Never one to turn anyone away she was often prepared to welcome you with a smile and good meal. While engaging you in a lengthy conversation where she would update you on all the latest news of family or the people on anyone of her favorite reality shows. She was an avid seamstress who created many outfits for her family and loved to quilt.
