Michael Badder, 73

Michael Badder, age 73, of Imlay City, Michigan, died Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Michael Ward Badder was born May 28, 1952 in Detroit, MI. He is the son of the late Raymond and the late Adella (Evans) Badder. Michael grew up and lived his entire life in the Imlay City area. He is a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1970. While in high school, Michael played football and baseball. He married Charlotte Benthem on August 19, 1972 in Imlay City, Michigan.
He was employed as a Hi-Low Driver for 25 years at Chrysler Motors – Sterling Heights Stamping Plant and retired in 2012 after 41 years at Chrysler’s.
Michael was a member of Imlay City Christian Reformed Church where he served as a Deacon, usher, a Christian Cadet and served on the church council.
He enjoyed golfing and camping, especially family events at Port Huron or Ludington KOA.
Michael is survived by: his wife, Charlotte Badder; son, Craig (Patricia) Badder of Dryden, MI; his sisters, Judy Brinker of Imlay City, MI and Barbara Mathews of Almont, MI; and brother, Jerry (Diane) Badder of South Carolina. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Karle and Andrew; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Raymond and Adella Badder; brother, Edward Badder; his brothers-in-law, Richard Brinker and Arden Mathews; and his niece, Julie Timmer.
The Funeral Service was held Friday, October 3, 2025 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Reverend Alex Snider, pastor of Imlay City Christian Reformed Church, officiated. Interment followed at Imlay Township Cemetery.
