Wanda Lee Kolito, 78

Wanda Lee Kolito, age 78, of Imlay City, Michigan, died Monday, June 9, 2025 at Henry Ford Macomb of Clinton Twp., MI. Wanda was born July 18, 1946 in Kalamazoo, MI. She is the daughter of the late Ralph and the late Myrtle (Gleason) Hamilton. Wanda grew up in Kalamazoo and graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School. She moved to Goodland Township in 2005. She married John Anthony Kolito on August 20, 2005 in Royal Oak, MI. Her husband, John, died on November 20, 2016.
She was employed as an Eye Care Technician for Henry Ford Eye Care Center in Grosse Pointe, Michigan for several years.
Wanda enjoyed volunteering for Jaycees’, Toys for Tots, and the Imlay City Eagles.
She had attended Cornerstone Community Church in Imlay City and participated in several local Ladies Bowling Leagues.
She is survived by: her daughters, Hope (Andrew) Harbour of Imlay City, MI and Monique (Rusty) Bryant of Largo, FL; sons, Jeffrey (Medina) Perry of Bloomfield Hills, MI and Tony Kolito of Hamtramck, MI; and her sisters, Arlene Hamilton and Susie Sumpter.
Wanda was preceded in death by: her husband, John Kolito; daughter, Ginger Molnar; her brother, Ralph Hamilton; and sister, June Helias.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
The family will be available for visitation 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday, July 19th at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
A Celebration of Wanda’s Life will follow at the Imlay City Eagles, 170 S. Almont Ave., Imlay City, MI.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
