Kenneth “Kenny” Exelby, 78

Kenneth “Kenny” Exelby, age 78, of Almont, Michigan, died Monday, May 12, 2025 at Wellbridge of Romeo, MI. Kenneth Earl Exelby was born December 26, 1946 in Jackson, MI. He is the son of the late Kenneth and the late Dorothy (Kaupp) Exelby. Kenny grew up in Chelsea, MI as a child and moved with his family to Almont in 1961. He was a graduate of Almont High School, Class of 1966.
He was employed for several companies through the years: Champion Bus Corporation in Imlay City, Todd’s Grinding in Almont, and Waste Management. He also farmed his family’s farm.
Kenny was a former member of the Almont JayCee’s.
He is survived by: his good friend, Lucy Pardon of Almont, MI.
Kenny was preceded in death by: his sister, Eileen Van Horn; brother, Mark Exelby; his nieces, Jean Van Horn and Lynn Van Horn; and his buddy, Matthew at Wellbridge of Romeo.
The funeral will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Pastor Bill King, pastor of First Congregational Church of Almont, will officiate. Interment will follow at Almont Hough Cemetery.
The family will be available for visitation 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 14th at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
