Max Clark, 78

Max Clark, age 78, of Attica, Michigan, died Thursday, April 3, 2025 at his home. Max Arnold Clark was born February 17, 1947 in Mt. Clemens, MI. He is the son of the late Cortney and the late Charlotte (Harrington) Clark. Max grew up and lived most of his life in the Attica, MI area. He is a graduate of Dryden High School, Class of 1966. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Penny Sontag on May 30, 1969 in Lum, Michigan.
He was employed as an assembly line worker by General Motors in Auburn Hills, MI (Pontiac Motors and Fiero Plants) for 30+ years. Max was employed at Pamida in Imlay City, MI for 5 years.
Max is survived by: his daughter, Mavis (Ricky) Marguerite Willson of Attica, MI; sister, Janet Jones of North Branch, MI; his sister-in-law, Mona (Lulu) Cruz of Almont, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Penny Clark; parents, Cortney and Charlotte Clark; and his sister, Janice Jones.
The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 11, 2025 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Reverend Ron Rouse, pastor of Attica Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow at Attica Township Cemetery.
The family will be available for visitation 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Friday, April 11th at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
