Curtis “Curt” Seddon, age 57

Curtis “Curt” Seddon, age 57, of Lapeer, Michigan, died Thursday, November 7, 2024 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital with his daughter holding his hand. Curtis Lee Seddon was born December 1, 1966 in Bruce Township, MI. He is the son of the late Edward and the late Lynda (Kemp) Seddon. Curt grew up in Lum, MI. He is a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1984. Curt attended Lapeer County Education and Technology Center (Vo-Tech) for training in the trades. He has lived in Lapeer, MI for over 26 years.

He was employed as a Machinist by Trison Tool & Die/ToolTech Gun Sight in Oxford for 20 years.

Curt was a member of the Lapeer Sportsman Club and enjoyed shooting, skeet shooting, and gunsmithing. He was a member of various leagues through the years: pool, darts, golf, archery, and fishing. He liked running his remote control cars and boats. Curt was a total outdoorsman. He had a good time boating, jet-skiing, e-biking (riding 1800 miles in 2 years, after having open heart surgery for his 2nd valve replacement), and even built a para-sail in earlier years.

He is survived by: his daughter, Amber (Trevor) Clark of Metamora, MI; son, Ryan (Suzanne) Seddon of North Branch, MI; wife of 13 years and close friend, Bev; brothers: Cameron (Leslie) Seddon and Chad Seddon. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Hayden, Rayna, Nevaeh, late Kiana, Ryan Jr. and Kaidance; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his special pal (his dog: Maggie Mae).

Curt was preceded in death by: his parents, Edward & Lynda Seddon.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. The family will be available for visitation 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, November 13th at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
