Mary Fenningsdorf, 70

Mary Fenningsdorf, age 70, of Attica, Michigan, died Thursday, October 10, 2024 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital of Lapeer, MI. Mary Fenningsdorf was born February 4, 1954 in Ann Arbor, MI. She is the daughter of the late William and the late Josephine (Herman) Fenningsdorf. Mary grew up and lived most of her life in Attica, MI. She graduated from Detroit College of Business.

She was employed as a MRO Buyer (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) from Wellington Industries in Detroit, MI, an extrusion, auto part, and stamping company. Mary had been employed as a MRO Purchaser by Ligon Brothers in Almont, MI early in her career. She retired after 30+ years between Wellington and Ligon Brothers.

Mary is survived by: her daughter, Leighann Daneille (Jack Wright) Fenningsdorf of North Branch, MI; granddaughter, Tori Leigh (Cody Locke) Wood of Lum, MI; and her sister-in-law, Linda Fenningsdorf.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, William and Josephine Fenningsdorf; brothers, James “Big Jim” Fenningsdorf, William Fenningsdorf, Jack Fenningsdorf, and Larry Fenningsdorf; and her sisters, Ellen Kehn, Norma Brown and Hazel Goodrich.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Interment will take place in Attica Township Cemetery.

The family will be available for visitation Thursday, October 17 from 5 -8 p.m., Friday, October 18th, 10 a.m. -12 noon, 1-5 p.m., and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, October 19th from 10-11 a.m. at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
