Francis A. LaGrow, 83

Francis A. LaGrow 83, of Mussey Township, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Blue Water Hospice Home, Marysville.

He was born October 16, 1940, in Marine City the son of the late Ebbon and Caroline (Pleiness) LaGrow.

His marriage to Sally Ann Dobbyn was July 30, 1960, at Riley Center United Methodist Church.

Frank was a member of Capac United Methodist Church, Mussey Township. He was employed by General Motors Truck and Bus Plant, Pontiac, for 34 years until his retirement in 1998. After retirement, Frank worked for Kaatz Funeral Home, drove for the Ford dealership in Imlay City, and drove hundreds of patients to their doctor’s appointments.

Frank loved working in his yard, until he could no longer do so. He also loved going to the library and working on jigsaw puzzles. Surviving in addition to Sally, his wife of 64 years, and several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by brothers Lawrence, Roland, Paul, Bernie, Tom, Eugene, Richard, Gerald and Jack; sisters, Doris Brzezinski, Mary Louise LaGrow, Barbara LaGrow and Theresa LaGrow.

The family honors the memory of Frank and invite you to visit and share memories Wednesday October 16, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Capac United Methodist Church, Capac. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Rev. Lisa Clark, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in East Berlin Cemetery, Berlin Township.

Memorials are suggested to Capac United Methodist Church, Blue Water Area Humane Society, or Friends of the Capac Library.
