Pamela Waterson, 77

Pamela Waterson, age 77, of Almont, Michigan died Saturday, September 14, 2024, at her home in Almont. Pamela Mae Spens was born July 31, 1947, in Almont, MI. She is the daughter of the late Edward and the late Dorothy A. (LePard) Spens. Pamela grew up and lived most all of her life in the Almont area. She was a graduate of Almont High School, Class of 1965.
She married Eugene Francis Waterson on September 10, 1966, in Almont, MI. Gene died on January 13, 2013. Pam earned her Associates Degree at Macomb Community College; earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Leadership & Accounting at Baker College; and earned her Master’s Degree in Human Resources at Baker College. Pam was an accountant for several auto supply manufacturing companies (Ligon Mfg., Romeo Rim, Motion Industries), as well as doing the bookkeeping for the family farm and tax preparation. She attended the First Congregational Church of Almont.
Pam is survived by her son, Paul (Amanda) Waterson of New Haven, Michigan; sisters, Patricia Spens Davis of Burton, MI and Penny (Robert) Spens Tibbits of Richmond, MI; and her brother, Edward Spens of Dryden, MI. Pam is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Waterson; brother-in-law, Robert Davis; her sister-in-law, Rebecca Spens; and her parents, Edward & Dorothy Spens.
The funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Officiating will be the Reverend William ‘Bill’ King, pastor of the First Congregational Church of Almont. The graveside service will follow at Almont Hough Cemetery, Hough Rd., Almont, MI.
The family will be available for visitation 4 -8 p.m. Wednesday, September 18 and from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, September 19th at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
