Cari Candace Dixon, 45

Cari Candace Dixon, 45, of Yale, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Beaumont Hospital, Troy.

She was born October 1, 1978, in Detroit, the daughter of Jim and Brenda (Witkowski) Krotak.

Cari worked for Yale Public Schools as a bus driver and was involved with the schools robotics program. She was the life of the party. Everyone knew that if Cari was going to be with them, they were going to have a fun time! She loved her kids more than anything and was involved in all their activities.

Surviving are her children, Mia Krotak, Eve Dixon, Ari Dixon and Ever Dixon; her parents, Jim and Brenda Krotak; siblings, Jason (Shannon) Krotak, Brandon (Jessica) Krotak, Ryan Krotak and Kyle (Amanda) Krotak; nieces and nephews, Tevin, Julius, Nya, Fione, and Alaric; her cat, Bruno; as well as many cousins and friends.

The family honors the memory of Cari and invites you to visit and share memories Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Kaatz Funeral Directors.
