Marie Antoinette Vincent, 53

Marie Antoinette Vincent, 53, of Imlay City a lifetime area resident, died after complications of a diabetic episode Sunday September 1, 2024. She was born January 29, 1971 in Marlette to parents Rudy and Janie (Salas) Lopez. Marie married Joseph B. Vincent on May 29, 2004 in Lapeer.
Marie worked many years as a medical assistant, mostly for the health department. She really enjoyed anything crafting; sewing, crochet, quilting – she was known to offer to make you anything you wanted, “you’d eventually get it.” Marie was the life of any party, shown by her love of singing and dancing with her grandkids, YOGA lessons were sprinkled in there too. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy! Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by many.
Mrs. Vincent is survived by her husband: Joe, daughters: Maurisa Lopez, Mercedies (Justin) Ballard, Reina Jo Vincent, grandchildren: Brayden, Landon, Xavier, Everleigh and Paisley as well as siblings: Eddie Salas, Arnold Salas, Edna Sanchez, Betty Strzynski, Rudy Lopez and Sandy (Mark) Schlak.
She was preceded in death by her aforementioned parents.
Marie’s cremation has been entrusted with Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer.
A memorial gathering will be Saturday September 7, 2024 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Muirs, Lapeer. No formal ceremony at this time, however, a celebration of life will be scheduled in the coming weeks (please check back to Muirs website).
