Conrad Baron, 85

Conrad Baron, age 85, of Imlay City, MI died Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, MI. Conrad Charles Baron was born August 19, 1939, in St. Clair Shores, MI. He is the son of the late Conrad and the late Louise (LaBeau) Baron. Conrad grew up in St. Clair Shores, MI. He is a graduate of Lakeshore High School. He married Carole Lotocki on December 29, 1989, in Leestown, Kentucky. Conrad & Carole moved to the Imlay City, MI area in 1990.

Through the years, Conrad was employed as a Steelworker and Welder in Seattle, WA, a School Bus Driver for Grayling Community Schools for 9 years and most recently, a School Bus Driver for Imlay City Community Schools for many years. He was also a Master Carpenter and owned and operated C.B. Construction.

Conrad loved to hunt, fish, ice fish and snow mobile. He enjoyed going to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and going to the casinos.

He is survived by his wife, Carole Baron of Lum, MI; daughter, Sherry (Jerry) Alley of Dunnellon, FL; his sons, Conrad Bruno (Roxanne) Baron of Republic, MI and Jeffery (Karrie) Baron of Marlette, MI; and his brother, Lloyd (Patricia) LaBeau of FL. Conrad is also survived by his grandchildren, Nicole, William, Amber, Erik, Nicholas, Shawna, and Ronnie; great-grandchildren, Jeffery, Jacob, Evelyn, Mikah, Sophia, Jessica, Kylie, Sharie, Shalie, Damien, Dale, Alina, Oliver, Ellie, Thea, Jerimiah, Evelyn Rose, Garland, Maddox and Aiden; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Conrad was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Louise Baron; sisters, Margaret and Geraldine; and his brother, Richard Baron.

A Funeral Service will take place 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Reverend Fr. Sama Muma, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in North Branch, will officiate. Interment will follow at Christian Memorial Gardens West Cemetery, 521 E. Hamlin Rd., Rochester Hills, MI.

Arrangements were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
