Judith “Judy” Brinker, 84

Judith “Judy” Brinker, age 84, of Imlay City, Michigan died Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Serene Gardens Assisted Living of Imlay City, MI. Judith Ann Badder was born August 8, 1941 in Attica, MI. She is the daughter of the late Raymond and the late Adella (Evans) Badder. Judy grew up in Imlay City and was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1959. She married Richard “Dick” Brinker on August 27, 1960 in Imlay City, Michigan. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Dick, on December 19, 2003.
She was employed as a bus driver and a custodian for Imlay City Community Schools for 28 years before retiring in 2003. Early in Judy’s career, she worked as a soda jerk at Ray’s Drugstore and Hamill Seatbelt Manufacturing in Almont, MI. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Imlay City. Judy loved her grandchildren. She and Dick loved to camp and travel and went as far as Alaska and Hawaii.
Judy is survived by: her daughters, Deborah (James) Beranis of Belleville, IL, Karen Benner of Imlay City, MI, and Cynthia (Curt) Shannon of St. Johns, MI; son, Richard (Stephanie McMichael) Brinker of Swartz Creek, MI; her sister, Barbara Matthews of Almont, MI; brother, Gerald (Diane) Badder of Timmonsville, SC; and her son-in-law, Curt Timmer of Imlay City, MI. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by: her husband, Dick Brinker; daughter, Julie Timmer; her granddaughter, Cara Timmer; and brothers, Edward Badder and Mike Badder.
A celebration of Judy’s life will take place 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Castle Creek Golf Club, 5191 Lum Road, Attica, Michigan, 48412.
