Almont’s Gabe Nucolovic plus Imlay City’s Giovani Franco and Xavier Galeana competed in the Blue Water All-Star Soccer Game.
TRI-CITY AREA — Imlay City’s Giovani Franco and Xavier Galeana along with Almont’s Gabe Nucolovic competed for the White team in a 3-2 setback to the Blue squad at the Blue Water All-Star Boys’ Soccer Game last Thursday.

Walt Braun Viking Stadium, in Marysville, hosted the contest.

In Thursday’s battle, the White team grabbed a 1-0 edge after one half was over with.

Half number two would see the Blue squad counter with a 3-1 advantage, allowing them to pull out a 3-2 victory.

Franco and Galeana accounted for the White team’s goals that evening.

Ethan Morhan (Yale), Jackson Kohler (Yale), Brayden Bullard (Yale), Corbin Allen (Cros-Lex), Martin Nelson (Cros-Lex), Connor Soule (Cros-Lex), Jake Hill (Richmond), Charles Allen (Richmond), Cullen Knuth (Cardinal Mooney), and Sawyer Ingles (New Life Christian) joined them on the White team. They were coached by Pat Egan (Yale).

Ethan Russell (Marysville), Luke Oles (Marysville), Cole Stevens (Marysville), Zane Lukasek (Marysville), Matthew Ball (Marysville), Chase Jones (St. Clair), Seth White (St. Clair), Bondaryl McCall (Port Huron), Andrew Becker (Port Huron Northern), Frank Orlando (Port Huron Northern), Vasili Kasparian (Port Huron Northern) and Kasch Chapman (Marine City)  comprised the Blue squad’s roster. They were coached by Scott Parker (Marysville).
