Gary “Grub” Guralczyk, 74

Gary “Grub” Guralczyk, age 74, of Imlay City, MI, died Monday, September 8, 2025 at his home. Gary Fredrick Guralczyk was born November 8, 1950 in Detroit, MI. He is the son of the late Edward and the late Florence (Mettie) Guralczyk. Gary grew up in Utica, MI. He attended St. Lawrence Catholic School. Gary lived in Rochester, MI for a period of time and has lived in the Imlay City, MI area for the past 30 years.

He was a self-employed Master Motorcycle Mechanic.

Gary was a genuinely good person to people and animals. He loved his brothers, children, grandchildren and had many friends. Gary was a very intelligent man who liked motorcycles. He enjoyed nature, fishing and was an avid reader. Gary found value in everything, finding a use for anything.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cary (Jon) Pinch of Richmond, MI, Kellie Guralczyk and Dayna (Dirk) Kunkel; son, Gary Guralczyk, II; his sisters, Donna (Jim) Olden and Linda (Dan) Bailey; brother’s, Brian Guralczyk and Dean Guralczyk; and his grandchildren, Liam, Riley and Kaytrin.

Gary was preceded in death by: his parents, Edward and Florence Guralczyk; and his brothers, Randy Guralczyk, Al Guralczyk, Eddie Guralczyk and Kirk Guralczyk.

The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI with Pastor Curtis Clark officiating.

The family will be available for visitation 2-8 p.m., Monday, September 15th and 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, September 16th at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
