Susan Walls, 70

Susan Walls, age 70, of Imlay City, Michigan, died Friday, June 19, 2026 at her home.  Susan Lorraine Wicha was born August 4, 1955 in Highland Park, MI. She is the daughter of the late Jerome and the late Lorraine (Nickowski) Wicha. Susan grew up in Detroit, MI. She was a graduate of Denby High School in Detroit, Class of 1973.  She married Dennis Walls on April 5, 1980 in Sterling Heights, Michigan.  Susan and Dennis lived in Sterling Heights and Warren, MI before moving to the Imlay City area 9 years ago.

She was employed as an Office Secretary by Sun Mobile Home Community in Clinton Township and Shelby Township. Earlier in Susan’s career, she was employed as a Clerk and Manager by Farmer Jack’s in Warren, MI.

Susan was a Cub Scout Leader and office manager for the East Detroit Tiger Cats (little league football).

She enjoyed R.V. camping at Algonac State Park.

Susan is survived by: her husband, Dennis Leland Walls; and sons, Dennis (Rose) Walls of Imlay City, MI and William (Autumn) Walls of Kawkawlin, MI. She is also survived by: her grandchildren, Mackenzie L. Walls, Brooke R. Walls, Caleb A. Goldun, Dennis “D.J.” Walls, Sophia Walls, James Walls, Adalynn Walls and Paxton Walls; great-granddaughter, Savannah Goldun; and her sisters, Sharon (Pat) McMahon of Sterling Heights, MI and Sandy (Scott) Hood of Chesterfield Twp., MI.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Jerome and Lorraine Wicha.

The Funeral Service will be held 12:00 noon, Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.  Reverend Fr. Charles Altermatt, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will officiate.  Entombment will take place in Imlay Township Cemetery.

The family will be available for visitation 10 a.m. - 12 noon, Thursday, June 25 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
