Paul Moenaert, 73

Paul Moenaert, age 73, of Swartz Creek, Michigan died Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Reid Road Home in Swartz Creek, MI. Paul William Moenaert was born October 16, 1952 in Marlette, MI. He is the son of the late Paul Franklin Moenaert and the late Betty (Crawford) Jacobs. Paul grew up in Lum, Michigan.

He enjoyed watching local farmers drive their tractors and occasionally would get to ride on them. The family would like to thank the staff of the Reid Road Home for taking excellent care of Paul during his stay.

Paul is survived by: his sister, Janet Moenaert of Imlay City, MI; brothers, Vic (Joanne) Moenaert of Imlay City, MI, Mark Reaves of Lapeer, MI, and John (Vicky) Moenaert of Imlay City, MI; and his sister-in-law, Gail Reaves of Lapeer, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by: his parents, Paul and Fran Moenaert; mother, Betty Jacobs; sister, Judy Moenaert; brother, Kip Reaves; and grandparents, Germaine and Isador Moenaert.

The funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2026 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI 48444. The family will be available for visitation 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2026 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
