Brian Howe, 82

Brian Howe, age 82, of Attica, Michigan, passed away April 12, 2026 at home. Brian Dale Howe was born July 6, 1943 in Detroit, MI. He is the son of the late Ernest Howe and the late Evelyn (Balfour) Howe. Brian grew up in Lake Orion, MI. He was a graduate of Lake Orion High School, Class of 1961. Brian married Karen Moore (Brockie). He has lived in the Attica, MI area for 50 years.
He was employed in Quality Control by GMC Truck & Bus in Pontiac, MI for 30 years before retiring in 1992. After retiring from General Motors, Brian continued working for Ralph Swain Demolition and owned and operated his own dirt moving business called “Here’s Howe”. In his later years, Brian still continued working mowing lawns commercially.
Brian never met a stranger! He was a “Mr. Fix It” man and could fix just about anything. Brian collected everything. He was always on the move, always finding ways to keep busy. Brian enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by: his wife, Karen Howe of 40 years of Attica, MI; and his children, Kimberly Hulker of Attica, MI, Brian Douglas (Jenny) Howe of Attica, MI, Scott Howe of Colorado and Kristine (Jeff) Frank (nee: Moore) of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by: his grandchildren, Anthony DeLoy, Jason DeLoy, Dr. Cody Howe, Zane Howe, Brandon Howe, Jayden Howe, Brooke Kalmakoff and Ali Wreggelsworth; 5 great-grandchildren; and his sister-in-law, Barb Howe.
Brian was preceded in death by: his parents, Ernest and Evelyn Howe; brother, Ronald Howe; sister, Linda Robertson; son-in-law, Wayne Hulker; and parents-in-law, Irwin and Vera Brockie.
The Memorial Service is being held 11 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2026 at North Goodland Baptist Church, 3080 N. Van Dyke Rd., Imlay City, MI. Pastor John Chippewa will officiate.
