Alice Ann Boulan, 79, of Dryden, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Lapeer. She was born on September 6, 1946, in Almont, the daughter of Anthony and Margaret (Weingartz) Brinker. Alice graduated from Imlay City High School, where she began building the foundation for a life centered on family, service, and community.
After high school, Alice met the love of her life, Herbert Boulan. The two were united in marriage on December 2, 1967, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Imlay City. Together, they shared 55 years of marriage filled with love, partnership, and countless memories.
Alice was deeply committed to public service. She proudly served as Dryden Village Clerk and Treasurer during the late 1970s and early 1980s. She also contributed her time and talents to Lapeer County Government, working in the Building and Grounds, and the Parks and Recreation Departments.
In her free time, Alice found joy in traveling the country with her husband on annual bus trips, ultimately visiting all 50 states. She had a sharp mind and a love for crossword puzzles, and while she occasionally enjoyed visiting the casino, it was always a rare treat.
Above all else, Alice cherished her family. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting bonds and treasured moments that will be remembered always.
