Donna Marie Sandoffsky, 71

Donna Marie Sandoffsky, 71, of Dryden, Michigan died Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Henry Ford – Rochester hospital (formerly Crittenton Hospital). Donna Koss was born September 8, 1954 in Flat Rock, MI. She is the daughter of the late Robert and the late Jean (King) Koss. Donna was a 1973 graduate of Mercy Catholic High School in Farmington Hills, MI, where the family had moved when she was five. She married Daniel Frederick Sandoffsky on May 16, 1980 in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Donna and Daniel lived in Clinton Township before moving to the Dryden, Michigan area in 1992. She was employed by St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Dryden as the Director of Religious Education for 17 years and completed a program through Siena Heights University to become a Certified Director of Religious Education during that time. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, camping, reading, riding with her husband in their dune buggy, and traveling (as far east as Maine, as far west to Montana and Utah, and north to their ten peaceful acres in Lewiston for much of the last 26 years).

Donna is survived by her husband, Daniel Sandoffsky of Dryden; her daughters, Deanna (Eric) Engler of Royal Oak, MI and Danielle (Matthew) Sheils of West Bloomfield, MI; and her grandchildren, Makyla Engler, Zoey Engler, William Sheils, Ada Sheils, and Ephram Sheils. Also surviving are her sisters, Debra Koss-Rodriguez, Patricia Luger, and Mary Maydew; her brothers, Robert Koss, Gerald Koss, and Thomas Koss.

Donna was preceded in death by her brother, William Koss.

A Mass of Christian burial was held Monday, March 16, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 N. Lapeer Road (M-24), Lake Orion, MI. The Rev. Fr. Wayne Ureel will be officiating.
