Douglas Badder, 70

Douglas Badder, age 70, of Imlay City, Michigan died Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at McLaren Flint Region Medical Center. Douglas Walter Badder was born April 12, 1955 in Lapeer, MI. He is the son of the late Edward “George” and the late Thelma (King) Badder. Douglas grew up in the Imlay City and Capac, MI areas. He was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1973. Douglas married Nancy Nettnay on August 29, 1980 in Imlay City, Michigan.

He worked as a machinist for Todd Grinding in Almont, Michigan from 1986 until his retirement in 2015.

Douglas was a family man and was always there when needed. He rode Harley Davidsons and fixed up cars in his spare time. Douglas loved Christmas time, watching westerns, and a variety of music.

Douglas is survived by: his wife, Nancy; son, Brian (Alyssa) Badder of Lapeer, MI; and his daughter, Brandy (Badder) Cope of Vassar, MI. He is also survived by: his grandchildren, Lincoln, Maya, and Parker; and siblings, Laura (Michael) White of Roscommon, MI, and Bruce (Karen) Badder of Imlay City, MI.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Edward and Thelma Badder.
