Virginia Langley, 87

Virginia Langley, age 87, of Imlay City (formerly of Sterling Heights) Michigan, died Thursday, December 11, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. Virginia Grace Lemons was born March 28, 1938 in Marshall County, Alabama. She is the daughter of the late Beulah and the late Florence (Clark) Lemons. Virginia grew up in Scottsboro, Alabama before moving to Michigan. She married Donald Langley on November 16, 1957 in Tishomingo County, Mississippi.
Virginia lived in Sterling Heights, MI for 57 years before moving to Imlay City, MI. She earned her high school diploma from Utica High School. She was employed as a Crossing Guard by Utica Community Schools.
Virginia enjoyed bowling at Continental Lanes, going to garage sales and shopping. She especially liked spending time with her grandchildren. Virginia and Donald traveled to Hawaii, Alaska, Tennessee, and Alabama.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Barbara) Langley of Imlay City, MI and Curtis Langley of Sterling Heights, MI; grandchildren, Taylor (Lauren) Langley, Austin (Chelsey) Langley, Scotti Marie Langley and Hannah (Avery) Augustino; her great-grandchildren, Beau, Baylen, Noah, Keller, Liam, Luca, Ellory and Deckard; and several nieces and nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald Langley and her grandson, Joshua Langley.
The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Pastor Steve Barkey, pastor of Orchard Ridge Church, will officiate. Interment will take place in White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy, MI.
The family will be available for visitation 2-5 & 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, December 17 and 10-11 a.m., Thursday, December 18 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
