Betty Guldi, 91

Betty Guldi, age 91, of Imlay City, Michigan, died Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Serene Gardens Assisted Living of Imlay City, MI. Betty Jean Wheeler was born October 14, 1934 in Peck, MI. She is the daughter of the late Wayne and the late Bernice (Ennest) Wheeler. Betty grew up in Drayton Plains and Peck, MI. She was a graduate of Peck High School, Class of 1952. She married Charles ‘Chuck’ Guldi on December 24, 1952 in Pontiac, Michigan. Betty always said that ‘Chuck was the Love of her life’. Charles and Betty moved to Attica, MI in 1967. They lived on Elk Lake in Attica from 1990 to 2022.

Betty and Chuck owned and operated Custom Enterprises in Imlay City, MI where she was a bookkeeper for 20 years. Earlier in Betty’s career, she was employed as the Personnel Director by Pontiac General Hospital in Pontiac, MI for 10 years. Betty enjoyed bowling, bingo, and going to Soaring Eagle Casino.

Betty is survived by: her daughter, Diana Childers of Lapeer, MI; son, Charles (Flossie) Guldi, Jr. of Brown City, MI; her grandchildren, Chad Childers, Bryan (Tiffany) Guldi and Kelly Guldi; great-grandchildren, Reed, Ava and Finn; and her special nephew, JD (Carrie) DeLaRosa of Metamora, MI.

Betty was preceded in death by: her husband, Chuck Guldi; parents, Wayne and Bernice (Bottke) Wheeler; step father, Don Bottke; her son-in-law, Joseph Childers; and her sister, Shirley DeLaRosa.

The Funeral Services were held Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Interment followed at Attica Township Cemetery.
