Nancy Lee Wagner, 93

Nancy Lee Wagner, age 93, a long time Dryden resident passed away October 17, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 20, 1931, the daughter of Nelson and Catherine (Patterson) Daley in Auburn Hills. Nancy was a graduate of Dryden High School, Class of 1950. She married her beloved husband John C. Wagner on June 6, 1953 at the Dryden United Methodist Church. Nancy served as a Librarian at the Dryden Library for thirty years. She enjoyed gardening but, most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by many.
Nancy is survived by her beloved children Mark (Sherry) Wagner of Dryden, Barbara (Larry) Fillinger of Howell, John D. (Belinda) Wagner of Dryden; loving grandchildren Kathryn (Dr. Aaron) Moeggenborg of Shepherd, Dr. Robert Fillinger of Hudsonville, Lelia (Eric) Wagner of Ortonville, John N-J. Wagner of Dryden, Nikolai (Sydney) Wagner of Mussey Twp. and one great granddaughter Madilyn. Also surviving is her loving niece Joy Willwerth, brother-in- law Raymond Norton and other beloved nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, sisters and in-laws: Joan (Charles) Willwerth, Patricia (Nick) Wagner, Shirley (Wagner) VanBuskirk, Blanche (Wagner) Kozlowski, Josephine (Wagner) Massimilla, Nick Wagner, Marie (Wagner) Norton, and Phyllis (Wagner) Letson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service being held at 2:00 p.m. all at Muir Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, 2650 S. Van Dyke, Imlay City, MI 48444. Burial will be made next to her late husband John at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dryden.
Memorial donations may be made in Nancy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
