Holly Louise Atherton, 39

Holly Louise Atherton, age 39, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 in Great Falls, Montana. Holly was born July 31, 1985 in Lapeer, Michigan. She is the daughter of the late Emma Atherton and the late L.C. Short. Holly was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 2003. She enjoyed writing and poetry.

She is survived by; her brother: Robert Atherton of Great Falls, Montana; aunt, Marsha Atherton of Cut Bank, Montana; and her cousin, Rose Atherton of Cut Bank, Montana.

Holly was preceded in death by: her mother, Emma Atherton; her father, L.C. Short; and her aunt, Mary Atherton.

A graveside memorial is being held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Capac Cemetery. Patrick Lothrop will be officiating.

Arrangements were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
