Brenna Miller, 22

A bright light has left this world. Brenna Miller, age 22, of Attica, MI, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 16, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Brenna Lee Miller was born April 1, 2003 in Lapeer, MI. She is the loving daughter of Joshua Miller and Chanda (Arnold) and Mike DeSutter.

Brenna grew up in Attica, MI, and was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 2021. Brenna brightened the lives of all who knew her with her infectious smile and loving spirit. She was a very gifted artist. She had a passion for music and loved to sing. Brenna was the best Momma and she loved her son, Booker fiercely.

Brenna is survived by: her beautiful son, Booker Douglas Claypool and her loving partner Kevin Claypool II, her father Joshua Miller of Brown City, MI; her mother and step-father, Chanda and Mike DeSutter of Attica, MI; her grandparents, Clark and Jackie Arnold of Attica, MI, Cheryl and Gary Howell of North Branch, MI, Cindy and Ernest Miller of Brown City, MI and Dawn DeSutter of Shelby Township; and her great-grandmothers, Judith Higgins, Inez J. Miller and Betty Hudgins; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by: her grandfather, Steven DeSutter; and great-grandparents, Frank and Marjorie Arnold, Brad and Helen Powell, Freeman Hudgins, Cleelan and Bonnie Bissett, and Ernest Miller, Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held 11 am, Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 200 Cedar Street, Imlay City, MI.  Reverend Sharon Smith, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, will officiate.

The family will be available for visitation 1-5 & 6-8 pm, Monday, August 25th at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI and 10-11 am, Tuesday, August 26th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to set up a trust fund for her son, Booker.
