Clarine Krohn, 98

Clarine Krohn, age 98, of Imlay City, Michigan, died Monday, June 30, 2025 at Angelic Gardens Adult Foster Care of Lum, MI. Clarine Joyce Krampien was born November 6, 1926 in Brown City, MI. She is the daughter of the late Glen and the late Orena (Foster) Krampien. Clarine was a graduate of Port Huron High School, Class of 1944. She married Donald Krohn on July 3, 1947 in Port Huron, Michigan.
She was employed as an Executive Secretary for the principal by Brown City High School for 25 years.
Clarine was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great-great-grandmother. She loved her family and prayed for them every day. Clarine definitely was a prayer warrior. She loved reading and studying her Bible. Kindness flowed from her. She loved her Savior and now has seen Him face to face. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. We are so blessed by our wonderful Christian heritage.
She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and putting together puzzles.
Clarine is survived by: her daughter, Pamela Stover of Lapeer, MI; sons, Kevin (Amy) Krohn of Imlay City, MI and Brian (Susan) Krohn of Lambertville, MI; and her grandchildren, Melissa (Gil) Fruchey, Amy Voss, Heather (Andrew) Johnson, Kim Tripplehorn, Rebecca (Jeff) Krohn, Jeff (Sara) Krohn, Mike Krohn, Nicole (Josh) Clements and Nathaniel Sontag. She is also survived by: great-grandchildren, Travis (Melanie) Sample, Justin (Kaleigh) Sample, Bradley Sample, Allsion (Aaron) Meinburg, Katelyn Johnson, Kalista Fruchey, Ashley Fruchey, Jackson Voss, Zachary Voss, Hunter Tripplehorn, Gage Tripplehorn, Isaak Sontag, Brianna Krohn, Fishcher Krohn, Jacob Krohn and Mya Krohn; her great-great-grandson, Isaiah; and her sisters-in-law, Jan Krampien of Port Huron, MI and Bethel Haight of Austin, TX; and by many nieces and nephews.
Clarine was preceded in death by: Husband, Donald Krohn; parents, Glen and Orena Krampien; and her step mother, Nettie Krampien.
A Memorial Service is being held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Crossroads Baptist Church, 6835 Weyer Road, Imlay City, MI. Reverend Jeffrey Dufour will officiate.
The family will be available for visitation 10-11 a.m., Saturday, July 26 at Crossroads Baptist Church.
