Marjorie “Margie” White, 78

Marjorie “Margie” White, age 78, of Shelby Township (formerly of Romeo), Michigan died Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Regency at Shelby Township. Marjorie Ann Hollenbeck was born April 16, 1947 in Lapeer, MI. She is the daughter of the late Noble and the late Esther (Godo) Hollenbeck. Margie grew up between Imlay City and Capac, MI. She attended Capac Schools and is a graduate of Capac High School. She married Emery White on July 15, 1967 in Romeo, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery, on July 2, 2017.

She was employed by as a Nurse’s Aide for Ferguson’s Nursing Home in Lapeer, MI and Medi-Lodge of Romeo, MI (Woodworth’s).

Margie was a member of Church of Christ Church in Romeo, MI.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, dancing and popcorn.

Marge is survived by: her daughter, Kimberly White of Romeo, MI; granddaughter, Payton Solarz of Romeo, MI; and her siblings, Robert (Beverly) Hollenbeck, Allen (Maureen) Hollenbeck and Leslie (Sue) Hollenbeck.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Emery White; parents, Noble and Esther Hollenbeck; and her brother, Dale Hollenbeck.

A Celebration of Margie’s Life is being planned for a later date.
