Amanda Rodriguez, age 38

Amanda Rodriguez, age 38, of Columbiaville, Michigan died Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. Amanda Catalina Gutierrez was born January 30, 1986 in Lapeer, MI. She is the daughter of Ruben Gutierrez, Jr. and Dawn Sump. Amanda grew up in Brown City, MI. She is a graduate of Brown City High School, Class of 2004. She married Raul Rodriguez on May 8, 2021 in Imlay City, Michigan.

She was employed as a Elementary School Para Pro by Columbiaville Schools for 4 years. Amanda was a cheerleading coach. She enjoyed watching her children play sports and was a hobby jumper.

Amanda is survived by: her husband, Raul Rodriguez; daughters, Taylor Eagle, Annabelle Gutierrez and Joslyn Rodriguez; and her sons, Brody Gutierrez and Raul “JuJu” Rodriguez, Jr.. She is also survived by: her father, Ruben Gutierrez, Jr. of Imlay City, MI and mother Dawn Sump of Columbiaville, MI; her sisters, Tiffany (Larry) Bullock of Dryden, MI and Bianca (Pete) Woodman of Grand Blanc, MI; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.

The family will be available for visitation 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Thursday, December 5th at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
