Jon-Paul Battaglia, 38

Jon-Paul Battaglia, age 38, of Ray Township, MI died suddenly as a result of an accident Thursday, July 4, 2024. Jon-Paul was born February 13, 1986, in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. He is the son of Anthony and Deanna Lynn (Prell) Battaglia. He grew up in Warren, MI. The family moved to Imlay City in 2000. Jon-Paul was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 2004. Jon-Paul married Nicolle Renae Lesley on July 7, 2007, in Warren, MI.

Jon-Paul was a self – employed fence installation technician; he and his crew would contract or sub-contract installation jobs for fencing in the Detroit Metropolitan area.

Jon-Paul enjoyed spending time with his children. He enjoyed the great outdoors. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, camping, watching fireworks, riding his motorcycle. He played football and wrestled while a student at Imlay City High School. Jon-Paul and his family attended the St. John Lutheran Church in Ray Township.

Jon-Paul is survived by his wife, Nicolle Battaglia of Ray Township; his children, Jon Vincent Battaglia and EmilyMarie Battaglia; his parents, Anthony and Deanna Battaglia of Imlay City; a brother, Vincent (Autumn Chaney) Battaglia of North Branch, MI; his mother-in-law, Traci Lesley of Lapeer, MI; and his grandmother, Phyllis Battaglia.

Jon-Paul was preceded in death by his grandfather, Vincent Battaglia.

The funeral will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the Muir Brothers Funeral Home Of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. The family will be available for visiting hours from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the Muir Brothers Funeral Home Of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
