Theresa Kaluk, 86

Theresa Kaluk, age 86, of Allenton, Michigan died Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Blue Water Hospice Home of Marysville, MI surrounded by her loving daughters. Theresa Marie Koslowski was born August 15, 1937 in Detroit, MI. She is the daughter of the late Francis and the late Chesteress “Jessie” (Dombrowski) Koslowski. Theresa grew up in Hamtramck, MI and previously lived in Centerline before moving to Emmett, MI in 1973. She was a graduate of St. Stanislaus Catholic High School in Hamtramck. She married Steve Kaluk III on January 3, 1961 in Hamtramck, Michigan.

She worked as a lunch lady for Capac Community Schools for 15 years. Theresa was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Emmett, MI. She also worked as a receptionist for Chrysler Motors in Detroit and Sacred Heart Rehab in Memphis, MI.

Theresa is survived by her daughters, Donna (Doug) Walker and Mary Ann (Brian Eggen) Kaluk; and son, Matthew (Michelle) Kaluk. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Frank Potyczka, Vincent Potyczka, Jacob (Tia) Walker, Andrew Walker, Michael Kaluk, Corey Eggen, Jennifer (Nate Weingartz) Kaluk, Maria (Brayton Paquette) Kaluk, and Ashli Eggen; one great – grandchild, Scarlett; and sister-in- law, Sue Koslowksi . Theresa also had many adapted grandsons, Josh K., Josh I-B, Raul, and Eric P.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Steve Kaluk III; parents, Francis and Chesteress Koslowski; her brother, Leonard Koslowski; and sister, Lorraine Koslowski.

The funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2024 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 10828 Brandon Rd., Emmett, MI with Fr. Tom Kuehnemund officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

The family will be available for visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2024 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
