Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to state Public Act 33 of 2008, as amended, the Planning Commission of Imlay Township will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 7:30 p.m., at the Imlay Township Hall, located at 682 N. Fairgrounds Rd, Imlay City Michigan 48444. The public hearing is intended to provide an opportunity for interested citizens to express their opinions regarding all aspects of a proposed update to the Imlay Township Master Plan. The Master Plan serves as a guide for the physical development of the Township, by setting forth goals and policies and providing a comprehensive view of the preferred future.
An electronic copy of the proposed Master Plan can be downloaded from the Township website at the following internet address: www.imlaytownship.org. You may review a hard copy of the proposed Master Plan at the Township Hall or by contacting the Township Supervisor 810-724-8835.
Those unable to attend the public hearing are invited to submit written comments to the attention of the Township Clerk at the Township Hall address noted above or by e-mail to clerk@imlaytownship.org. All written comments must be received no later than 1:00 p.m., on Monday July 7, 2025.
