Food Pantry meets the needs of the community

Dear Editor,

Linked Hearts Emergency Food Pantry, located in Dryden, is a non-profit organization that serves to provide food to families in need in our community. The food we distribute is obtained by utilizing both monetary and food donations from individuals, groups, businesses, and churches in our area.

We are so fortunate to have businesses and individuals in our community to help us complete our mission. Recently, The Imlay City Eagles #4082 Auxiliary, specifically, Kelli Schenkel and Sue Taylor, sponsored a bowling fundraiser.

All proceeds from the fundraiser were donated to Linked Hearts.

We are very appreciative of their dedication and generosity. All the items we received will be used to help others. Linked Hearts Emergency Food Pantry and the clients we serve in our community, send a sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU to the Imlay City Eagles #4082.

What makes a community great is people that care for and help one another. Dryden is one of those communities. Linked Hearts is privileged to be a part of this community.

Thank you,
— Linked Hearts Emergency Food Pantry
