Supervisor Downey called the Budget Hearing to order at 7:00 p.m. with Pledge of Allegiance
Present: Downey (Supervisor), Standel (Clerk), Lewis (Treasurer) Kegler (Trustee) Absent: Nemecek (Trustee)
Minutes: It was moved by Lewis and supported by Kegler to approve the March meeting minutes as presented. Motion carried. 4/0
Citizens Wishing to Address the Board:
• Christine Compton – offered prayer for the board
Zoning Officer Report: report given on open files
Old Business:
• None
New Business:
• Michigan Earned Sick Time Act – Discussion on how it effects Fire Department
• Petz Rd Crossroad Culvert -It was moved by Standel and supported by Lewis to approve the repair in the amount of
$6,000.00. Motion passed 4/0
• Martin Rd. Crossroad Culvert – It was moved by Standel and supported by Lewis to approve the repair in the amount of $7,000.00. Motion passed 4/0
• There will be a Public Hearing for a County Wide Ordinance regarding Solar and Data Centers as they pertain to Public Health on April 16 at 5:00 p.m. at the Don Dodge Auditorium in the County Bldg. If you are not able to attend you can contact Board of Commissioners prior to with input.
Building Department Report: Discussion on ponds and acreage required
Cemetery Report: Ground has settled and we need to put dirt in and seed around Columbarium area
Clerk’s Report: It was moved by Downey and supported by Kegler to approve bills as presented (checks 97910-97937 General and 9806-9817 Fire). Motion carried 4/0
Fire Department Report: Report given
Planning Commission Report: Master Plan update and discussion
Treasurer Report: It was moved by Standel and supported by Downey to approve Treasurer Report as presented. Motion carried. 4/0
It was moved by Lewis and supported by Kegler to adjourn at 8:32 p.m. Motion carried.
