NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
Notice is hereby given that there will be a Zoning Board of Appeals meeting on December l0th, 2024. The meeting will be held at the Offices of Berlin Township located at 740 Capac Road, Allenton,MI. The meeting will commence at 7:30 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting will be to consider comments, verbal or written relating to an Accessory building (detached) in the Agricultural district.
First request is: Section 1203, Item B, Subsection B states that an Accessory Buildings shall not cover more than twenty-five percent of rear yard in which it is located. On not less than one point nine nine acres 1.99. Applicant has one point three seven three (1.373) acres.
Second Request: Applicant is requesting a variance for square footage. There is already a detached garage on the property of 577 (five hundred seventy-seven feet) new building request square footage is one thousand seven hundred ninety-two (1792) that brings the grand total of two thousand three hundred sixty-nine (2369). By adding the two (2) of them together you have and overage of one thousand one hundred sixty-nine sq. feet.
Third request is the rear setback. Schedule of Regulations, Section 1100. Required rear setback in the Ag. Zoning is seventy-five feet (75); proposed setback is twenty-five feet (25).
