May 11, 2026
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Deputy Supervisor Dzieszkowski. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Members present: Klos, Parks and Christian. Winn and Wittstock were absent. April minutes approved. Treasurer’s report approved. Fire report: 10 runs last month; hired Emily Willis; new grass truck skid will arrive next month. Planning Commission: one issue needs to go to ZBA first and a request to split a vacant parcel between neighbors was discussed. Senior report: exercise is every Monday at 11 a.m. and cards is every Tuesday at noon; next potluck is 5/26. Park report: Country Garage Sale will be 6/11-13 ($10 to get on map; applications available at Twp Hall thru 6/4 deadline). Discussed: approved: blight letter to be sent to a resident by the attorney, fireworks at Berville Lions field on 6/26 (gates open at 7 p.m.), funds to mail newsletters and mention that Clean-up day is 6/13 (8 a.m.-2 p.m.). Audience: Thank-you to Fire Department for hanging veteran banners and a mention that a 50-year time capsule will be opened soon in Capac. Motion to adjourn 7:45 p.m. A complete copy of the unapproved current minutes is available at the township hall during business hours and on the township website within a couple days of the meeting.
