NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Attica Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday April 23, 2026 at the Township Hall located at 4350 Peppermill Road. The public hearing is to consider text amendments to modify the requirements regarding yard determinations for waterfront property and add private ponds as a principally permitted use in the R-1 District.
These changes would be to Section 2.20 Definitions, Section 2.40 Definitions, Section 3.60 Residential Zoning Districts Table of Uses.
This meeting is open to the public. Anyone wishing to comment on this item but is unable to attend the meeting may send their comments to – Attica Township Planning Commission, P.O. Box 86 Attica 48412. Written public comments need to be submitted by Thursday April 23, 2026 at 1:00 pm. A copy of the proposed text amendment is available at the Attica Township Hall 4350 Peppermill Road Attica 48412 (810) 724-8128, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
