Here’re my thoughts about that

Dear Editor,

Last week, Rick Liblong’s article talked about two different TV stations showing the exact same footage of a woman being shot. However, the viewers of each of these stations had two different opinions of what they saw. Here’re my thoughts about that;

An attacker drives her car into a police officer, and misses, then the police officer shoots the attacker and kills the attacker. Is it self-defense? Was it justified?

OR, picture this;

An attacker shoots her gun at a police officer, and misses, then the police officer shoots the attacker and kills the attacker. Is it self-defense? Was it justified?

Some people are saying the police officer could have jumped out of the way of the car. Using that same reasoning, he could jump out of the way of the bullet also. But does that mean he should let the guy shooting at him just drive away?

It seems to me the only difference was the weapon. Gun or car. Both can kill.

Another thought,,,,, Are the protesters marching because they want to protect the illegals? If so, why don’t they help by taking some of these illegals into their homes. Feed them, cloth them, care for them, hide them. What better sanctuary is there?
