Concerned with lack of information from city hall

Dear Editor,

As a lifelong Imlay City citizen as well as a former city commissioner, I have been undstandably concerned with the lack of information coming from city hall recently as well as the unusually high numbers of closed sessions with attorneys.

At this evening’s meeting I spoke to the issue. I spoke not to commissioners, but to friends and good citizens trying to do the right thing.

As I looked each in the eye I concluded that they are each caught in a very tough position. One that we as citizens need to let play out with the same confidence we had when we voted for them.
I am confident that when possible our commissioners/friends will be open and forthcoming.

In the meantime let’s keep them in our prayers.
