BOARD MEETING SYNOPSIS
January 12, 2026
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Supervisor Winn. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Members present: Klos, Parks, Winn, Christian & Wittstock. December minutes approved. Treasurer’s report approved. Fire report by Chief Kirkum: 17 runs last month, new truck should be ready mid-October and hired Connor Put as a new volunteer firefighter. Planning Commission: one split and one re-combination approved. Senior report: exercise is every Monday at 11 a.m. and cards is every Tuesday at noon; next potluck is 1/27 at noon. Park report: Easter Egg Hunt will be 3/29 at 2 p.m. (refreshments and Easter Bunny). Discussed: Surface Road Program is replacing match monies fund, approval given to sign up for limestone/ chloride for our roads, budget process for 2026/27 is starting and the planner will be at next meeting. Audience: speeding on Capac Road is a big issue – will look into getting speed signs installed and Dryden Road poor condition will be reported. Motion to pay the bills approved.
