SYNOPSIS
President Debra Hlubic called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Council Members in attendance: President Debra Hlubic, President Pro Tempore Joseph Herrington, Mary Klug, Lynne Mandeville, Samantha Ramirez, Miguel Rodriguez, and Patricia Weyhrauch, along with Village Manager Travis Youatt and Clerk LeAnn Brewer.
The following motions were approved: approval of the August 18, 2025, regular meeting agenda; the July 21, 2025, regular meeting minutes; the August 6, 2025, special meeting minutes; bills totaling $1,492,982.38; adoption of Ordinance No. 25-01 to amend section 30-149 of the Village of Capac Code of Ordinances; to enter into a closed session in accordance with Michigan’s Compiled Laws Section 15.26(h); to authorize Village Manager Travis Youatt to execute a purchase agreement for $40,000.00 and split of a property located within the Village of Capac; adoption of Resolution 2025-03 for annexation purposes.
