PUBLIC HEARING
Please take notice that the Mussey Township Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mussey Township Fire Dept. located at 550 W. Mill Street, Capac, Michigan.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive comment from residents, property owners and the general public regarding a proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance §153.185, Section 1220 – Ponds. The purpose of this is to change the required acreage from 5 acres to 3 acres.
A copy of the proposed amendment may be examined or obtained at the Mussey Township Office at 135 N. Main Street during regularly posted office hours. Comments regarding the proposed amendment will be received at the Public Hearing and may also be made in writing to the Mussey Township Planning Commission at P. O. Box 118, Capac, MI 48014. Written comments will be received until the close of business on August 12, 2025.
