BOARD MEETING SYNOPSIS
June 9, 2025
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Supervisor Winn. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Members present: Klos, Parks, Winn, Christian and Wittstock. May minutes approved. Treasurer’s report approved. Fire report: 14 runs last month; approved purchase of (3) “blade” nozzles and deposit on new truck and they will be on stand-by for Berville fireworks on 6/27 and the Lion’s Powersports event on 7/19-20. Planning Commission: there will be a special meeting on 6/17 to replace the cancelled one from 6/5. Senior report: exercise is every Monday at 11 a.m. and cards is every Tuesday at noon; next potluck is 6/24. Park report: Country Garage sale is this weekend and playground opening picnic will be on 7/13 (noon-2 p.m.). Discussed: approved new permit application/building fees on fee schedule, approved $200/month additional for building inspector, and approved (3) bills that may arrive late due to email issue. Audience: mention that a section of Cochrane Road needs work (will be done with limestone haul/chloride application) and a request for an address for a newly-split parcel with a large barn on it was denied. Motion to pay the bills approved. Motion to adjourn 8:55 p.m. A complete copy of the unapproved current minutes is available at the township hall during business hours and on the township website within a couple days of the meeting.
